What does Démét'Air do? 

While working on the site of Porte de Versailles Exhibition Centre Hall 6, Brice Sendra, founder of Démet'Air, was able to experience most of the difficulties encountered while working on green projects: logistical difficulties, the weight of the substrate, complex installation and lack of staff training. He developed an innovative complex, easy to install and extremely light. 40kg/m3, dry. His meeting with Hélène Mariette, who became a partner, contributed to the decision to set up in Toulouse.

The meeting and involvement of Invest in Toulouse was the determining factor. The Toulouse-based start-up offers a technology that revolutionises the greening of roofs. A particularly accessible solution with 100% biodegradable with 98% organic matter offered to all building actors. It allows to optimize the costs of construction and maintenance for a maximum capacity of water retention.

Démet'Air answers to an immediate need, offering several lighter vegetation substrates from sustainable and renewable resources that are particularly in demand in the urban sector.

In collaboration with chambers of agriculture to develop processes for growing vegetables and melliferous plants on roofs, the startup will carry out its R&D in Toulouse.
