Auticonsult company chose Toulouse

Auticonsult is a digital company that has the particularity of employing autistic consultants. This makes us an digital services company with a triple impact: the first is technological since we put at the service of our clients' digital projects both the technical skills of our consultants and their cognitive skills, which are very atypical and which are a real vector of innovation within our clients' teams. The second impact is social: we offer permanent contracts to a population that is still widely discriminated against in France. Our third impact is societal, since through this successful experience of working with our consultants, we hope to be able to change mentalities, not only within our clients' teams but also in a broader way by enhancing the professional skills of people with autism.

Why Toulouse? Well, for the dynamism of the Occitan region, both at the industrial and technological level, and at the level of autism because there are a lot of university and associations’ initiatives, in support of the autistic population of this region.

We have a double objective: the first is to offer a maximum of contracts and employment opportunities to autistic people in the Occitanie region, in our fields which are data, IT development, research, testing and security. Our second objective is to meet as many needs as possible within companies in the region, which are also in various fields, aeronautics, scientific research, space, mobility of the future, GreenTech, pharmaceuticals and health!

Toulouse's very first Auticonsult consultant did his first assignment at Airbus, on a tool he did not know, Splunk. He developed his skills on this tool at high speed to the point that in less than a year Airbus offered him to train other employees in this tool, by the way we also offered him to increase our expertise on Splunk. As I was telling him about his skills as a pedagogue, he corrected me by explaining that pedagogy is when you teach children, when you teach adults, it is called andragogy! I am telling this anecdote because it is very representative of our consultants: they learn on the job, very quickly and on their own, there is no limit to what they can do. Teaching is not necessarily something you associate at first with typical autistic skills, yet they can take the challenge and they can excel. Lastly, they are very precise, and they have a great concern for accuracy.
